Default Which mustang motor makes the most hp per cid

Which mustang motor makes the most power per cubic wise?

Rules has to be in Net hp not gross and has to be NA

Stock block no nitrous anything else goes

I think the 2.3 don't do too bad as guys around here race them on.dirt track with like 200-225 ponies that's not too bad for a 2.3 NA

I'd really be surprised if you can't beat 250hp out of a 302 roller block.

That doesn't even make sense. That's not power to cid.

You set up the rules.:?: For the comparison, the 2.3 puts out about 100 hp per liter. A comparable 302 (5.0 liter) would have to put out 500 hp. Not real rocket science here. It's been done and then some.

Well if your talking stock a 4.6 is 281 cid. The 03-04 Mach 1s have 320 hp stock. But the current v6 is a 3.7 not sure on cid but it has 305 hp stock. not sure if your looking for a platform to build into a beast or just looking for stock output numbers.

I think the Ecoboost four cylinder is going to be the answer to your question when it hits in 2015. It is bound to make quite a bit of horsepower for such a low displacement.
