Default RPM limiter on A9P...what is it?

I know the max rpm on an A9L is 6250, is this the same on the A9P? The reason I ask is because I'm banging the fuel shutoff about 3 carlengths before getting into the traps. According to my calculations, that would mean I'm doing 117 mph (at 6250 rpm), which I don't think is right.

Here's the low down:

C4 (1.0 3rd gear)
4.10's
275/50/15 nitto drag radial (25.75")

Is the A9P rev limiter lower?

I unplugged the speed sensor and still had the same problem, so I think that can rule out the idea that it might have been hitting the speed limiter. Did a little poking around the net and found out the fuel shutoff is the same (6250). With converter slippage, remember I'm running a non lock-up converter, I'm probably looking at 113 - 114 mph top speed w/4.10's and a 26" tire. So I think that means I've more or less answered my original question about why I was hitting the fuel shutoff so early. Stay tuned for further questions as I'm looking into ordering a Tweecer very soon.

Those speed limiters are in the A9L also. I'm not really sure what they actually do.

All A9Ls and variants (A9P, A3M, X3Z, etc.) have a 6250 rpm fuel cutoff.
