Default gas mileage difference between carb and efi

just curious, if i do this swap, how many miles will i get to the gallom?

well i cant say for sure as far as the swap is concerned, but the FI models get about 20-22 mpg... they tune better than carbs so you don't waste fuel between idle and WOT

My girlfriends old coupe got about 15 mpg w/performer intake, 650 carb., mild cam, 3.55's, and a T5.

Let's put it this way

1981 F150 4X4
carb 9-10 mpg

after EFI conv. 17-18 mpg

I had better throttle response and more power, plus smog legal.

My carbed 85 gets anywhere from 8 to 18 mpg depending on how I drive it.
Going to EFI over the winter.
