I've got a 94 GT with 40K miles, suspension has been upgraded but engine and drivetrain are bone stock. The AOD is starting to go, and I want to swap in a viper T56 in preparation for future engine mods. Has anyone done this swap? Should I just get on the phone to D&D. performance? Those of you who have T56's, what gear ratio are you running? Any major gotcha's?

I had no real problems. The ones I did, D&D was right on top of it.

I'm running 4:10's. That is like 3:55 with a T-5. I would like to have seen what 4:30's or 4:56's are like.

This swap is one of the best things I have done. You wil enjoy the heck out of it!
