Default Leaking Mustang!

My pretty 2005 Torch Red Stang coupe NOT convertible was parked in my driveway and a serious thunderstorm rolled through. I open my car doors and there is water on the scuff plates and on the underside of the car doors! A lot of water! Dealer is stumped, no fix. Window seals seem to be in place, nothing missing. No water in the cabin or trunk. What do I do, just carry around a towel with me? Anyone else have this problem?

Is it actually getting INSIDE the car? I think that would just be water rolling down the side of the door and going in between the gap.. There's no seals there if I'm understanding you correctly.

Right. Inside vs. outside makes a huge difference. Quite possible that an excessive amount of downpour could have seeped inbetween the window and the seal...then out the bottom of the door onto the scuff plate. If so, you should be able to repeat this with a garden hose.

Whatever you do, make sure the dealer displays his ignorance in writing before you rust out. And, get a second opinion.
