I just purchased a nice red 92 Mustang with a worn out 2.3. I'm considering a 3.8. This will be my son's first car and want him to have a little fun but afraid to turn him loose in my 5.0. Is this a complicated swap? I've never seen any information on a swap like this.....

It should be no more complicated than the 5.0 swap. An 83 - 86 parts car would be ideal to make the swap from, but without that you will need all the usual items. Engine, tranny, fuel system (most of the early 3.8's were carbed), the k frame will work, etc.
