Default '83 Mustang 2.3 Turbo - Overboost

I am new to this sight, so bare with me. I have an '83 Mustang with a 2.3L turbo. The overboost warning light is coming on. The car does not want to idle, and when it gets to about 2000 rpm's, it falls all over it self. No power etc. I checked the timing and it is dead on. It also has 120 psi in all cylinders. I think that I might have toasted the turbo, but I can look in the clean air side of it and see that the blade is in good condition. Any ideas? Also how do I reset that light?

Thanks,

Dan

It could be a few different items. But to tell you witch one it would be. Will be real hard. my guess would be the throtle postion sensor or the main modual.
Good luck keep us informed.

I guess it would help to let everyone know that a buddy was driving my car and he was doing about 90mph in fifth gear and went to shift to fourth. He went to second instead. Could he have broke the turbo shaft?
