Default Cheater Bars

Does anyone know where I can buy a cheater Bar or what can I use for one?

I am doing a timing belt job on a 96 civic for a friend and that bolt for the crank pulley is on there so damn tight. I was told by several people to use a cheater bar, but dont know where to get one. Any suggestions?

A cheater bar is anything that is longer that attaches to the wrench etc that you are using to remove the bolt etc.. in the 60's we used a water pipe 2 to 4 foot long if space allowed.

so basically I can go to home depot or somewhere and buy a pipe that will slide over the breaker bar but extend out and is used for more leverage?

Yes

That is what we did. In the sixties most building took place at one of two dads houses and both pops had varies lengths of bars. Lter years we used impact or power drive wrenches but we didn't have those as kids.
