Default got a question

I was wondering......will I notice a huge diffrence in getting the v8 wit the 4.6 instead of the 5.0......what are the pros and cons of doing that.....thansk for NE help

The 5.0 has better bottom end torque.... the 4.6 has quicker revving and higher RPMs.... there are a few discussions on the board.. for all of the responses do a search for stuff like "5.0 or 4.6"

they are both good motors. However, the 5.0 has many more aftermarket parts than the 4.6. But, the 4.6 market is getting bigger everyday. The 5.0 seems to have more low end torque while the 4.6 seems to have better higher reving HP. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either. At least they are in a Mustang!!

I personally do not believe that the 4.6 is reliable, and if there is any problem with a 4.6, it is cheaper to put a new one in than changing a part like on a 5.0
