Default tire size

I have a 86 mustang conv, does anybody know what would be the biggest tire size i could use for the rear of my car, without rubing ? i plan on keeping my 15 inch 10 holes.

Well, I ran a 28X12.5 ET street for awhile and now run a 275/60/15 MT drag radial and they don't rub. However, I did have to massage the inner fenders a little to get them to fit. Nothing major though.

youll never get a tire that big on a stock 15" wheel. its not wide enough.

the wheels are probably 15 x 7

7 inches being the width of the wheel.

max width on a 7 inch wheel is 235 for safety.

you could get a 245 on there, but you risk blow outs.

225 is the BEST tire for that size wheel
