Default WOT_ADVANCE_VS_RPM question....

I think this should be pretty simple to answer. For this table, are the numbers I plug in here ADDED to the base timing (10 deg in my case), or does this table INCLUDE the base timing?

In other words, if I set my base to 10 deg and plug in 22 @ 6000, will my total timing at 6000 be 32 deg or only 22 deg?

I'm using the GUI software.

Thanks in advance,

Larry

The values in the table include 10 degrees of base timing. So, if your base is set at 10, your total advance will be whatever you plug into the table. If you set your base to 15, your total timing will be the table value plus 5.

Default Now I AM confused.....

The stock A9L file has 8 deg inserted at the first 3 positions of x; ie: (0,8), (0,8), (1000,8). Would this indicate that those cars using the A9L had only 8 deg of base timing?

Thanks for your previous resonse, I appreciate it.

Larry

No, it just means that the EEC pulls 2 degrees of timing at those points. You don't want much timing at 1000 rpm.
