1995 Mustang Fuel Systems Problem?

I have a 1995 v6 3.8L engine. I am new to fixing it by myself. It is starting to have problems starting. I have to turn the key "on" and pump the gas pedal to get it to start. It sounds like it wants to start but just wont get started sometimes. In the last year with my fathers help we have replaced the fuel pump, o2 sensors and general tune up items. My father has since passed away and I need to fix something else on the car and not sure where to start. I think it has something to do with fuel systems but not sure. I can fix my way through the car if I know where to start. I have "listened" to the gas pump come on when I turn the key but after that I am at a loss what to check next.
