Default 66 mustang motor swap
i am currently swapping a fully built 5.0 from a 89 mustang into a 1966 mustang that had a 289 in it. i want to remove the efi from the 5.0 and go with a carb setup, but im told that i need a "newer series" C-4 transmission. anybody got any ideas? (for both the carb setup and the trans.)

You dont need another tranny, the "old" C4 bolts to any 302/5.0 block.
