Default Are my missing something

I just purchased your ISK-351393 from Summit and after looking thru the lifter holes I noticed the cam lobes are off centered on some of lifter holes, some look like the lifter will be riding on not much more than 1/2 of the cam lobe. Is this normal. Thanks Jim

That cam is for a FE family of ford engines (390 406 410 427 428 ), if you have a windsor 5.0 or 351 then thats the problem.

Thanks GT, I do have a 390 FE. It just seems odd that the lobes are so far aff center. Some are perfectly centerd within the lifter hole but some are pretty far off. I will try to take a picture but I dont think you will be able to see anything

Just an FYI, they are not directly inline which causes them to spin and not wear one point of the lifter

suthpen77 is right. If they would be exactly centerline, the lifters and then the cam lobes would wear out pretty fast. Lifters need to spin - equal wear pattern.
