Question gear oil
anyone know a good weight synthetic gear oil and friction additve to use for 4:30 gears

I like Castrol Syntec 75W90 with no additive, it is in the oil.

I use 80w 90 castrol with one bottle of lucas oil added.

Use Motorcraft, get it from the dealership, and also use the friction modifyer.

The friction Mod. is necessary for the clutch disks in the differential.
