Default Blowing fuses

Here's one I've been putting off for a long time. My horn doesn't work. I replace the fuse, then push on the horn and the fuse pops. I've tried larger fuses too.

And if anyone has a repair idea that requires removing the steering wheel, how does it come off?

Check the wiring at the horns, and the contact in the center of the sttering wheel hub.
You have a dad short that only occurs when the horn in presses.
I would think that a horn wire (usually blue) is noging to ground at or near the horn contact. The horns are located inside the driver fender well.

Don't do anything with the steering wheel for now!

Hook the horn(s) off and push the horn button again. If the fuses don't blow even if you push the button for quite a while, the problem is at the horn(s). This would mean that the resistance is to low across the horn(s) and therefore they flow to many amps. ->bad horn(s).
If the fuses blow again without the horn(s) installed, its the wiring - To be acurate the positive wire goig from your horn button to a ground somewhere on the car and creating a short.

ok I disconnected the horns and the switch clicks but no fuse pops. The second I hook the horns back up and put a fuse in, fuse pops. Does this mean I need new horns, and if so where do you buy a part like that?

I only use OEM Ford Parts.

See your dealership, they will gladly help you out!
You can also take the horns and see a junkyard, they definitely have something that fits in there.
