Default rear quad shock

What up my fellow stangert?I know this question has been askd many
Times. I dont know how to search the threads
Forgive me. Anyway im putting my rims on my coupe
18 x9.5 n rears. They are rubbing on the outer shock. What
Happens if i remove this shock? As far as drive ability? Can I drive
Without it? Any advice?

Its mainly there to help with wheel hop. Nothing will go horribly wrong if removed. Its recommended you get different control arms if you do so.

You might get away with flipping the shock over to get you a little more room.
