It depends a lot on your budget.
The cheapest version is a non intercooled centrifugal SC
Trade off: parastic drag, NO boost in low RPM. Only good for mid and high RPM.
Manufacturers: Vortech, Paxton
Roots style non intercooled/ intercooled don't allow for high boost levels, because the charge temperature gets to high.
Great low and mid RPM boost therefore great low end torque.
Manufacturers: Eaton, on a cobra '03, '04 inatke manifold (not a direct bolt on, requires 4V conversion)
Twin screw is the most expensive, but it delivers awesome boost right off idle, all the way thru to redline. Available as I/C and Non I/C
Trade off is the high initial cost, especially when ordered as an intercooled version.
