Hi, I just picked up a 94 vert with a 3.8 and want to swap out the 6 banger for a 5.0. Can anyone tell me where i can find some refferance manuals or websites to do this? i have a motor but do I need a new tranny and suspension? I know I need to swap out the computer, wiring harness, exhaust and so on. but is that it? what else do I need?

Your best bet is to find a 5.0 car for parts. Maybe look for one with a blown engine/trans or thats been totalled in an accident, preferably from the rear. That way you will have anything/everything you need. Look at the 5.0, look at the 3.8, if its different move it over. Ive helped do some other 6 to 8 conversions in different cars, I can imagine this being much different than the 4 banger to 8 conversion. Sorry, not sure about the tranny.
