hey guys this is my fist post so bare with me if i did it wrong but back to my question i have an 88 5.0 mustang on the ride to work to day the motor was very shakey at idle and ran like crap the whole ride there when i went to start it to go home it started knocking really bad. it grew a croud it was so loud. i noticed that the seal broke on my harmonic balacer and the balancer was in two peices is it pointless to change the balancer did i blow my motor? or is it just knocking cause the wait is off the balancer. would greatly apriciate any response!!!!

Could be just the balancer, hard to tell without looking at it.

thanks man apriciate the respose i just ordered one so ill let you know how i make out when it comes in

i replaced the balancer and all the knockin stop but its still looks a lil wobble at idle
