Default Mustang Supercharged Boost Problem

I have 2002 gt with procharger 10lb pulley intercooled. Im not getting 10lbs of boost, getting 8lb when motor is at normal temp. When the motor is cool I get 10lbs sometimes 11. It has a nice smooth dyno curve then hits 4200 rpms and drops off. I was told it could be a timing issue that make more sense. Also told it could be bad compression but I would think that the curve would be ugly. I smell no gas in the oil but getting changed tomorrow to check it out someone help please.

Are you using the stock MAF? If so, you could be pegging it out. Also double check your pipe connections and make sure there are no leaks. What were your numbers on the dyno?

Are you using the by-pass valve that came in the kit from ATI?

Although it's functional, it could be the source or a leak, especially at 10 psi. From what I've read, most people swap them out for the Bosch valve.

I would suspect the MAF and puck or whatever it is. If you can borrow a 80 or 90 mm MAF for a while, put that on and dyno it again.
