Default 2006 exhaust question

hey got a question i got a 06 gt and was wanting to know the best muffler to go to for sound and power gain? also i had thought about taking or having the cats cut off, my question is will this require the computer to be retuned to run properly? im in process of getting the air raid intake with the x2 tuner i understand after you install the new cold air intake you have to retune with the x2, so any advice or experience from you guys will be appreciated thanks jamie
