Not sure my self, but just to get my learn on, why do you think you need to swap out the TB when you switch over heads? Wouldn't that all have to so with your intake manifold set up?

that switch would be way more than a head and intake manifold switch. the 87+ V8's were fuel injected. 84/85 were not. You would have to obtain the entire ECU, wiring harness, O2 sensor, fuel injectors, fuel system...and so on and so on. It's a time munching and expensive swap unless you can get all the parts from a junkyard. I plan on doing it to my 83 when I get around to finally toying around with it.

dude i think that are talking about putting head from a 87-93 heads on a 84-85 mustangs. not a entire swap..buy the way i see you have a 83 i just curious why would you want to go efi? i like being carb it's cheaper and easier to upgrade and tune to me..just my 2 cents though...
