my 'gurl' has developed a sputter or a miss of sorts... it only happens when she is in the slightest uphill grade... weather im in cruise on on the foot throttle if i try to maintain speed and give her some gas she starts to miss... or sputter... ive tuned up all the ignition parts... changed the plugs and wires... rotor button... etc... im starting to suspect a throttle body ( or fuel ) thing... but im not sure where to start ... i have also replaced the fuel filter... so... should i tear the throttle body down and start there... ??? i m not even sure what parts are in there and if they can even be replaced... i aint never had to tear in to the engine... oh yeah... 'my baby' has 294,000 on her... and no smoke... !!!!

I would start by: 1)Clean the MAF. 2)Test the TPS if it seems to happen at a particular throttle position. 3)Make sure there isnt carbon holding the EGR valve open (take it apart and clean it).
