I don't know for certain, but I do know the 3.8l in my car was in a truck once upon a time, so it's not that unlikely it would work.

2000 V6 Convertible - Current features: 20 inch rims, Leather interior, DVD head unit, Mach 1 Sound System. Engine currently stock: 3.8L 190 HP, Dual Exhaust Conversion

Anything can be swapped in with enough money. But the logical answer is no. The 5.4 exhaust manifolds are quite bulky and large and would not fit. I was a ford mechanic for five years and they are a shoe horned fit in a half ton. Also your 95 is obd1(on board diagnostics software 1) and in 97 obd2 became mandatory in all vehicles sold in north america. So even if the engine fit the wiring harness, cpu, and everything like that will all be different. The 5.4 wiring harness also, has a PATS module(passive anti theft module) which would give you headaches as well as youd need a programmed pats module key and ignition and so forth. For your 95 stick with mustang engines around the same year or youd have to go carbed with an older engine. If you did find a 95ish. Engine youd need to change motormounts, possibly bellhousings or transmissions, complete wiring harness and pcm:-)and more. Hope this helps

You'd be better of swapping in a stroked 351w (and you'll get more HP besides).

Sent from my toilet with Crapatalk v2
