Default Radiator Plug

I was using a ratchet to tighten the plastic radiator plug on my 95 GT, when the head broke off (I was hardly torqueing it!). It doesn't leak, but it will be impossible to get it off with the hex head. How do I go about replacing this?

most radiator drain cocks can be bought at autozone... if not on the shelf, they can be ordered.

What about getting the old one out? Will a bolt extractor work on the plastic, or is there an easier way?

just use an easy-out like you would a broken bolt...

OK, everything is fixed. Here is for future reference for anyone who plans on flushing their own system:

1: That plastic drain plug on the radiator does not require much torque!!! It is plastic, and will break.

2: If you should break it, replace it with a plug specificly for a Ford Radiator. Do not use a generic plug.

3: After it is all said and done, bring a flashlight, funnel, and extra premixed coolant in the trunk (make sure the coolant is sealed tight).
