Exclamation Need Help - 1981 Wiring Nightmare!

Hey all you Ford Freaks, I have an '81 with a rebuilt motor and before I start my body and interior work I would like to have my car running properly! I am not exact on the year of my motor but I have had several people tell me it's a street racing motor and a cobrajet at that. I have put alot of time and money into this project and just when I thought things were going good I ran into a wiring nightmare..... there was a tago switch for when I had to turn the car on and I did away with that, then she ran fine for a little while until my battery started to meltdown literally. My car will kill every battery, starter, and alternator that is put in and with that said that is where all the complications have began! Any suggestions or knowledge on this type of situation would be greatly appreciated!!!
My e-mail address is melissaj469@yahoo.com for any information!
Much Love,
Your #1 Ford Freak,

There's an issue in your wiring. Easiest thing to do would probably be to run a new charging circuit, and see if that fixes it.
Could be a couple of incompatible harnesses.

While the motor is out I would deftinitely replace the entire charging and starting circuit if you're melting down batteries.
