Default Holley System Max II Vs. Trick Flow? Which is better?

I recently noticed that Holley had a nice kit of heads intake uppper and lower, cam and timeing chain... that acoording to them will get you to 350 horse.. how does that compare to trick flow track heat or R series?

Which would be better for a stock 5.0? but i want to make this into a scream machine down the road.. so i dont want to buy in intake now... and have to replace it down the road with somthing better...

so will trick flow give me a noticable differance?

my goal some day is to get above 400, will i get this if i go with the holley and a blower down the road? or will i need nitro with the blower?

Box stock they're both going to be about equal. The TFS heads offer far more room to grow, but on the othe hand, the Holley intake gives you more room to grow as well. Either one will easily net you 400 hp on a blower application.

As a side note, a lot of the top S/R guys in both FFW and NMRA are running heavily ported TFS Track Heat heads along with the Systemax intake.

Maybe i'll just go with holley then.. or do you think i should get the track heat heads and the system max intake.. but i dont want to get into porting right now.. plus what cam would i need if i mixed holley and Trick flow?

Flip a coin. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Both setups should support the kind of power numbers you're looking for.

stick with one system.. they are designed to work together... dont mix and match.
