Default Blown head gasket 4.6 dohc

Help, I have a 2003 Mustang 4.6 dohc Cobra with blown headgasket -- compression on #5 is 120, all others 185, red hot overheating, all cooling components check out including "burping" the system. I checked alldata, and they do not include info for R&R head on this Mustang, just give flat rate hours--with engine removed. Anyone with any experience with this? Basic question is can I leave engine in car and pull off the drives side head?

yes you can remove the intake, blower and heads to replace the blown gasket with the motor in the car.

Thanks! Not the easiest head removal, but glad to hear I can save the trouble of removing the engine.
