1968 Front Struts and Goofy Ride Height In my 68 Mustang, for some reason the front end rides about 2 inches higher than the rear. I just replaced the rear springs with 1.5 inch drop springs and edelbrock shocks. I also replaced the front springs, and when I pulled them out and compared them with the old ones, they were about 2.5 inches shorter. They are also a 750 spring rate. I did not have the money to get the front struts right now, and the ones that are installed are old and do not have a name on them (brand). Can these old struts be causing my car to ride higher in the front than in the back? Has anybody else had this problem? Suggestions? Thanks. |
