New Shifter you dont have to do away with Console ????

Ok is there a shifter that I don't have to do away with the console. I have replace my AOD with a C-4 and I don't like the way the old shifter is working with the new trans. I tried the universal Hammer I like the shifter but not the way it mounts. Please help I need to return the Hammer to summit.

i dont know of any way to mount the c4 shifter without it looking akward, i know what you mean, but i dont have any suggestions...sorry

I think the Hammer is the only one that will let you retain the console, unless you get a stocker from a 79-84 car that had the C series trans.
