Hey .
I'm new and I'm trying to get a little more comfortable with surfing this web site. So I hope this goes though. I have been a life long mustang fan. I have modified an 85 GT. It goes really good, but I'm always looking for a little something more. I was thinking about going with those new3:90 gears. I heard both sides, but have not talked to anyone that ownes them. Can anyone

Thanks,
Anthony

I have not ( or know anyone who has) used the 3.90's, but they are only available for the 8.8" rear, not the 7.5" that came in the 85 GT.
Have you swapped to the 8.8" yet?

Jarret,
I do have an 8.8 with 3:55 in it now . I'm just looking for a liitle more kick.

I aslo have a Performer RPM intake, GT40 heads, Holley Street Advenger 670cc carb., Aluminum driveshaft, 1.7 rockers, msd coil, distributer, and 6al block, 1.5" lowering kit, pulleys, electric fan, Carter fuel pump, Mallory fuel Reg, B303 cam, a Ripper Shifter, and a couple of more rthings that I know that I am missing, but can't think of. I Customized my dash to fit a 140 speedo, with 5'' phantom tach with shift light so that it looks factory, even using the factory cluster and bezel. I am having a debate over getting a supercharger or to go with turbos.. Maybe you can help me out ?? I heard a lot about superchargers, but not alot about turbos.

Thanks,Anthony
P.S. Don't mid my spelling. It really sucks.
