Will a 245 tire fit on a 9 in. rim

Just wondering if anyone knows if a 245 tire will fit on a 9 inch rim

It will fit, but it will be well within the bead. You need 275/40-17's or a little larger.

they may seem a bit small but they will fit.

I'm running 245/40/18's on my 18x9 03' cobra wheels and they look fine...

they will fit fine. the only thing is the sidewalls will be nearly vertical and ride will suffer a bit.
