Question Subframe connectors

Im kinda new at this so bare with me.

I am looking into some subframe connectors, and was wondering what are their purpose, what are some good brands, and how hard are they to install? I drive a 2001 Mustang GT.

any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

braupe

subframe connectors are just that.. they connect and support the two main subframes of our wonderful, yet vulnerable unibody cars. basically, the floorpan of your mustang IS THE FRAME. by adding subframe rails, you strengthen your frame (by actually adding one lol) which inturn prevents tweeking from massive amounts of torque, and drastically improves handling.

they are a cheap, and very effective upgrade. you can spend alot or a little on subframes.. but they are all the same thing.. a piece of boxed steel that you weld onto your car. full length connectors obviously provide more support, but the mid-length ones should be just as good for a street car.

kenny brown matrix plus jacking rails very strong. i suggest battle boxes as a way to strengthen the torque boxes.
