Default What's in a compression test

Hello all. I'm Eric (new to the forum). Just tried to register my beautiful 84 5.0 convertible and found that it is a gross polluter. Took a dry compression test on the warm motor and recorded the findings but have no idea how to interpret the findings.
Anyone know where I can educate myself on the test results. I would also like to know what the ideal readings should be, I don't even have a reference point.

Thanks in advance.

basically all the numbers should be very close to each other cylinder. so they should be similar, but not exactly the same if you find that one of the cylinders is way out from the others then the cylinder may have seen better days and its time for new rings.
