Default I need help pricing install on exhaust.....

I have already arranged to have a Bassani X-Pipe and Cat back system put on my 05 GT. The guys down here at AMP have said it would be a little under 1500 bucks and I'm having them throw on a cold air intake for another 300 bucks. They said this intake won't void the warranty and it doesn't require checking to make sure it didn't mess up the computer or whatever other intakes do to them, I think it's like at STB cold air intake. Please someone tell me if that price for the full exhaust system is too much and if that information about the intake is correct. Thanks to all and take care.

Brett

$1500. is that just for install? If so, it's time to get your hands dirty. CAI and exhaust (minus headers) are fairly easy installs that can be done with basic hand tools in the driveway.

I've never done any deals with them, mind you, but I've yet to hear anything good about AMP. I'd do it myself.

That price is WAY out of wack....under $1,500 for an install. Find a normal muffler shop or something to do the install if you don't want to do it yourself. I had both my catback and prochamber installed for $80....I didn't feel like doing it myself. Also, you should do the cold air intake yourself....It's pretty easy stuff.
