I have a 86 302 roller block that has a oil leak i can not find. it drips between the tranmission and block and a little on the passenger side a-arm it hardly, leaks at all when runing maybe a drop or two, but when you cut the motor off after a few moments it will start driping until just an ounce or two of oil has escaped then quit also if the motor runs just a few minutes it leaks even less but always leaks after motor is turned of

Have you looked up the side and back of the block? My first thought would be the valve cover, and its just tricklin down, but thats just a guess, at best.

thanks my first guess also,tried valve cover gasket didnt help, mabye ill try a different valve cover.

If i'm not mistaken some of the early - mid 90's 302's had a prob on passenger side but I can't remember if it was oil leak or intake leak I'll do some checking maybe ,someone else remembers.
