Question Will quarter panels from a coupe fit a 1995 Mustang convertible?

I have a 1995 convertible and it got vandalised last summer. I need a new drivers side quarter panel. I cant find any for verts under 300 bucks. I can get one from a coupe for 150. hopeing I can cut it to fit. anyone tried this or have seen the difference betwene the two.
