Exclamation Help! Weird electrical problems cutting off power?

Recently ive been having problems with my power cutting out. mostly when i hit the brakes or use my turn signal. The radio cuts out then immediatly come back on my headlights dim if my lights are on (this short occurs whether the external lighting is on or off). Also, when im in park and i hit the brake all my lights inside and outside the car dim (more than just the normal slight dim). The battery is 2 months old and ive had the battery, alternator and starter all tested by myself and autozone and they all come up ok. I also cleaned the battery terminals and posts. A few times my car would not start because of it not having any electric and my having to jump it but when i checked the battery it had 12.5 volts. thanks

um....not too sure if i would rely on the autozone test for that battery. if it hasnt started before because of a dead battery, then something isnt working right when it comes to your battery/alternator. either you have a bad cell in the battery or the alternator is about to die. lately ive noticed that when i hit the brakes for the 1st time after i turn on my car, the radio display blinks real quick, so i think ill be looking into this problem a lot more in the near future.

Most times when weird things start happening electrically it is a bad or intermittantly bad ground. There are several ground locations. Get a schematic and check them all ,also make sure the starter solenoid the one that is mounted separately from the starter is grounded well. That solenoid grounds through its backing plate. Check that its mounting screws are tight. You,ll probably find at least a half of a dozen ground points in the entire wiring circuit. Good Luck , a thorough search may take some time but its probably going to be worth it.-Chuck

I agree with the ground, also make sure you dont have any wires that are loose or worn if they are fix that too. you could have a wire in the way of you brake pedal and haven't noticed it yet and when you hit the brakes it creates a loose ground or an open or short in one of the wires.
