Question High Stall Torque Converter C-4

Ive got a C-4 transmission with a B&M high stall torque converter which cost me $300, the transmission needs to be rebuilt after a couple of months enjoying it and the torque converter needs to be replaced ! I hate to trash it or replace it with a stock converter, is there any way it can be fixed or cleaned !

The cost of having a torque converter rebuilt would probably equal the cost of just getting another converter. It'll have to be cut open repaired internally and then rewelded back together. This is if you can find a shop that is equipped to do it. I'd just bite the bullet and get another converter. Check out Summit or Jeg's they have some nice converters and close to the price of a stock new converter or the price of getting yours reworked. I may be wrong but that's my opinion. All the best,-Chuck
