Help. Got play in my steering wheel (column?). Had a wheel bearing go out on the passenger side front. Fixed that. Drove the car, and now the steering wheel isn't tight. It's a 1988 Lx, 5-speed. Sorry, should have said that in the beginning. And it has the tilt steering wheel, where you can change the positon of steering wheel. Sorry about this post, it's my first time. Anyways, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check out your inner and outer tie rods. it could be time for a new rack and pinion.
