I recently purchased a 88 Gt and the heating system was completely missing from the core out. i need a diagram or detailed instruction on parts and parts placement. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can go to ebay and get detailed manuals on CD. But you will need to pull off the entire dash to get to it on the passenger side. There is only 2 lines for the heater core. And another tip put some Bars Leaks in the system after the fix. Put in the more expensive Bars leaks in. It will also prevent leaks in the future. They are putting the stuff in brand new cars directly from the factory, so do not worry. But the Heater core is a Bit@#$ to get too. And when you drop the dash go ahead and replace the clutch quadrant with a good after market one while the dash is dropped because you will have to eventually replace the quadrant anyways. But if you fine a solid aluminum one on it instead of the plastic original one on it; it has already been replaced and don't worry about it.
