i have a 1990 ford mustang gt which origanally had just an aod and i have put and aode in it and my shift linkage wont hook to it so i needed to know if there is a new linkage i need and if so where can i find it and also will the gear shift in the car be in reverse cause i dont know which way the shifter on the side of the transmission is in park or first so i need to know if all the way forward is park or reverse i need serious help fast this is the only thing i need to have my stang racing so if any1 can help me i would greatly appreciate it and if u need any help about motors i might could help im just clueless wen it comes to transmissions but thanks to anyone who can help me

push the shift lever all the way forward for park, but an aode i think is electronic , if it is it wont shift , did you try the shift linkage from the aod to put on the aode , why not swap to a C-4 , its a drag racing transmission

yea i tried it it wouldnt work rite but the only difference in an aod and aode is the overdrive i just wont he the button in the car to turn overdrive on and off so i wouldnt have overdrive but i dont need od anyway for drag racing as far as i know the aode will work with my computer it just would not run with a carburated car bcause u have no map sensor or tps sensor but i still would love to have more info cause u hear so many different stories i would just like to find out for real about this cause its the only thing keeping me from racing thanjs

do u know any 1 interested in buying a built aode, 2400 stall converter and all b&m internals if i can sell my aode i have a factory aod that came out of it it was slipping ill throw it in to ill take 500 dollars for the aode and do u know any1 with a built c-4 for sale
