I purchased a new drivers side (left mirror),I have a 1999 mustang.Does anyone know how i remove the old mirror,How do i get to the bolts or remove the door panel?

This may be late but the cover that sits at the top of the door, triangle shaped, is only held on with clips. Gently pry it off and there are three nuts that hold the mirror to the door. Remove those and you are home free.
