Exclamation 1997 4.6 litre starting issues

Hi,
I am new tto this forum so please bear with me.
I have a 1997 4.6 litre quad cam Supercharged engine in my Marcos Mantis. It a small fibreglass British Sportscar before you ask!
Here is the problem and no one in the UK can fix it so far.

Car starts and fires up, it revs immediatley to 3000rpm, and then the engine dies, and no driver intervention can stop this.

Has anybody got any idea what could possibly cause this?

Thanks in anticipation

Lack of fuel, have you checked the fuel pressure? the fuel filter? is the fuel pump working?

To me it sounds like a fuel problem, but also check theres enough spark.

Yea sounds like a fuel problem look on e-bay and to find a pump also take your injectors out and get a rebuild kit with o-rings and filters or send them to http://www.accurateis.com if you have a lot of miles on them they can get them like new and flow matched for 156$. if you had enough crud to mess up your pump and filter u might want to get the injectors done as well.
