Default Help with belt selection with no a/c or smog pump

Hello mustang dogs, I just put a 1991 GT motor in a 1986 lx that had a six cylinder. Im not running a/c or smog pump. My question is do i need to add some type of bracket to make this set up work. if not i could use some pictures of this set up. Thanks in advance. Jim

As long as the rotations of the accessories is correct just use a shorter belt.

You do NOT need an A/C kit. You should get a Smog Pump Eliminator Kit to ensure your belt has a large enough contact patch with the water pump. Then you just buy the belt for the NON-A/C car, and route it on the normal belt route, and your good to go. If you dont know the normal route, check your cars operator's manual, it should be in there.
