I have a 351 Windsor and have just done a number of upgrades: aluminum heads, new pushrods, and new roller rockers. The engine has a flat tappet hydraulic cam.

I've adjusted the pre-load on the rockers twice. The poly locks are not coming loose but there is more valve train noise present now than when I had the stock rockers. Is this normal or am I missing something? Thanks!

Too much lash. Go another 1/4 turn.
