you can get a kit from
www.stangparts.com for the
tranny swap. If you have the funds, go for a 6-speed.
While you have the
tranny separated, pick up an aluminum flywheel. You'll end up with a more responsive engine.
RE: making it faster -
you need three things - goal (what do you want? street/strip, street/track, street machine? Naturally Aspirated? Power Added?)
budget -how much are you willing to spend over what period of time?
And from there, we can figure out a plan.
