 A/C and blower fan problem
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help.
I have an 88 with a 2.3. My problem is lately when I put the A/C on, or heater or defrost, nothing works. I can hear the vacuum doors working but there the compressor does not kick on and the blower fan will not come on. Once I drive for a few minutes or so everything will finally come on and work normally. This happens everytime I turn off the car. Also if I place the controls on vent the blower fan won't come on for a few minutes. I believe it must be something that controls both the compressor and blower fan just because they both will come on together, it's not like the compressor kicks on and then the blower or vice/versa. Any ideas? |
