I just came across a SCT Big Air 2400 MAF - the deal was too good to pass up, so I got it. I am planning to put it on my 1999 Cobra 32V engine. At this point, I am having stock size 24 lbs/hr injectors. I am wondering if this MAF and these Injectors make a viable combination... or do I better step up to larger injectors when installing the MAF?
Advice much appreciated, thanks...
It all depends on the MAF calibration, which the original owner can provide. If not, you are kinda "stuck" with a MAF of unknown calibration, which means, you dont know what injectors should match unless you test it.
One more thing, MAF voltage is related to the amount of air going through it, "recalibrated" maf's change this voltage to FOOL the EEC into thinking there is less air coming in than there really is.
The best way to calibrate for larger or smaller injectors is changing the EEC program, both the Injector size and MAF transfer tables are changed.
Also try sending the serial number to SCT, they might be able to help.
scts mass ait meters dont come with a calibration for any certin size injector..from what i understand lol u need to change in eec

MAF and injectors are not calibrated to one another in the EEC V's. That is just a 302 EFI thing.
The MAF load calibration chart will need tweaking, dependent upon MAF counts in the EEC.
